Sagres is the perfect place for sea kayaking as it is the connection between the west and south coasts, each with very different sea conditions. Both beginners and advanced paddlers will enjoy.
Above all, the versatility of the coast is exciting. In just one day it is possible to experience the most diverse impressions: areas with strong winds are interrupted by sheltered sections, where you can comfortably paddle the caves. Several headlands share the sea, often with strong swells on one side and calmer seas on the other.
The respective weather conditions complete the adventure, because we can use the versatility of our coast to adapt spontaneously - with a guide who knows every meter of the coast by heart, with all its peculiarities!
You are accommodated in an eco-friendly family run hostel in Sagres which offers all comfort that you need, including snack-bar, swimming pool and laundry room where you can wash and dry your kayak clothing.
The 6 bed room with its sleeping cabins offers enough privacy, but of course it is also possible to book a private room.
The Adventure day is a way of responding to the needs of all participants. It can either be used to try out other activities, to train kayak skills, do kayak surf, sightseeing or just to relax on the beach.
We use following kayaks: Valley Sirona, Valley Aquanaut, Venture Capella, Wilderness Zephyr and Wilderness Tsunami. On request we offer double kayaks like Prijon Poseidon and Rainbow Atlantis
