Canoe tour Müritz Nationalpark

Tour description

Meeting point is the canoe rental station paddle-Paul, here you get your boat/equipment. Together we load the Kanutaxi and paddle to Feldberg. The next morning you start your tour on your own. Despite numerous portages, this tour is worth it, because only here you will find clear water lakes and small nice creek sections.

The daily stages are betwen 12-14 km, because of the many portages. From Himmelfort about 18 km.

1st day
You start in Feldberg, follow the narrow Lutzin, in Carwitz, portage 30 m, Dreetzsee 400 m, Krüselinsee,  Krüseliner mill. Here you can stay at the bivouac.

2nd day
The canoe tour continues over the small/large Mechnower lake, portage point Kobatzer Mill approx. 100m, portage Schreiber Mill 70m, Küstrinsee, portage Küstrinchen ca. 70 m. Accomondation on the Bivouac camp Fegefeuer.

3rd Day
You paddle to Lychen, here you buy groceries, portage Lychen about 50 m, large Lychener lake, watergate Himmelfort. Accomondation on the campsite Himmelfort.

4th Day
You paddle on the Stolpsee, via Fürstenberg to Priepert to the campsite Havelperle. (18 km)

5th day
It goes north over the Piepertsee, Wangnitzsee, Schwaanhavel, Plätlinsee to Wustrow. Here you have to portage to the campsite 250m. In the village there is a little shop. (16 km)

6th Day
From Wustrow we continue the canoe trip over the Kleenzsee, Gobenowsee, Drosedower Rätzsee, Fleether Mill, portage 50 m, Vilzsee, Mössensee to the campsite am Zotzensee. (18 km)
7th Day
Continue paddling to Mirow, Granzow to canoe rental paddle-Paul. (14 km)

Catering

Food should be taken for the first 3 days. Shopping possibilitys in Feldberg, Lychen, Fürstenberg, Wustrow, Mirow.
