Tour

We paddle in 2, 3 and 4 seater canoes or kayaks on a quiet river (Lohne/Hunte) through a meadow landscape. With a bit of luck, you can observe grey herons while fishing or admire passing swans. In some places you feel like in the Amazon region, as the treetops stick together above the river.

After a short briefing by an experienced canoeist the group starts on the calm river and begins to try the first paddle strokes.

After about 1.5 hours you can reach our resting place with fixed benches and a toilet. Here we can provide drinks or a small snack on request. There is also a barbecue place including coal you only need to bring your own picnic.

Afterwards we continue passing meadows, overhanging trees and fields. At one time you are in the middle of the county town of Diepholz directly at the town hall. If desired we will order a meal in a restaurant and return to the put in by car or rental bike.

It is also possible to take the train back home. If someone from the group avoids the water they can cycle parallel to the river. If you wish, you can have a barbecue or a snack on the Lohnetour. On the other rivers each participant should bring their own meals.

return transfer

is limited that means we can shuttle only for the car drivers or per boat at least one person. We make a great effort to carry out the transfer in a timely manner to your arrival. As we cannot drive for each boat, there may be longer waiting times. If someone is in a hurry, we are happy to call a taxi, in this case the fare is to be paid by the customer.

Alcohol

Alcohol should be enjoyed only in small measure before and during the canoe trip. It is absolutely necessary to waive the highest percentage. We reserve the right to exclude participants who make a alcoholised impression from the tour. In this case, there is no claim for a refund of the rental price. The carrying of large quantities of alcohol in the canoes is prohibited.
